STOUGHTON, MA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.
This submission comes from Christine Gallagher, who nominated Peg Carbone, who spends her free time volunteering by picking up food for the Stoughton food pantries every Thursday.
Carbone's efforts aren't unique to just the new coronavirus pandemic. She's been doing this every week for many years.
