Stoughton High School Closed To Remove Chemicals From Building
The early dismissal came on the last day at the old Stoughton High School, as the new high school is scheduled to open in the fall.

STOUGHTON, MA — Stoughton High School had an early dismissal Thursday to remove chemicals from the building, police announced. The early dismissal came on the last day at the old Stoughton High School, as the new high school is scheduled to open in the fall. Police said there was no danger to students or anyone who was in the building.
Stoughton fire officials and the Massachusetts State Police Bomb Squad responded to remove the chemicals from the building, which police said should only take a few minutes.
"The building is not in lock down and this is not an emergency situation," Stoughton police said in a statement. "This is a common procedure for outdated chemicals."
