Stoughton High School Earns Silver Medal in U.S. News and World Report’s 2017 Best High Rankings
The school is among the best in Massachusetts, according to U.S. News and World Report.

STOUGHTON, MA — Stoughton High School received a silver medal for being one the best high schools in Massachusetts, according to the U.S. News and World Report’s 2017 Best High Schools report.
Stoughton placed 66th in the state and 1,891th nationally. Boston Latin School was named the top high school in Massachusetts.
The ranking was good enough to earn a silver medal, which is given to 2,109 schools based on their highest college readiness scores.

These are Stoughton's vital stats, according to the survey:
- 11:1 student-teacher ratio
- 29.5 college readiness score
- 39 percent participate in AP exams
- 68 percent pass AP exams
- 81 percent proficiency in math
- 95 percent proficiency in English
- 94 percent graduation rate
