Stoughton High Students Place at Regional Science Fair, Qualify for States
Five Stoughton High students - Alec DeNapoli, Robert Mone, James Slattery, Amanda Glickman and Emma Sinkus - placed at the South Shore Regional Science Fair and are eligible to take part in the State Science Fair held at MIT in May.
Five students from Stoughton High School received third place honors at the South Shore Regional Science Fair, held Saturday, March 9 at Bridgewater State University.
Alec DeNapoli (project titled Electrolytes in Drinks), Robert Mone and James Slattery (Current Events), and Amanda Glickman and Emma Sinkus (Are Saccharin and Aspartame Indicative of Cancer? Examining the Mitotic Rate of Allium cepa with Artificial Sweeteners) are now eligible to take part in the Massachusetts State Science & Engineering Fair, held at MIT May 2 - 4.
Julia Sjoquist (Foreign Effects on Marshlands) and Callie Concannon (What's Eating Your Pipes Lately?) also participated in Saturday's Regional Science Fair.
