Stoughton Housing Authority Exec. Director Allegedly Stole Pills

The victim was a 90-year-old woman.

Greg Bartlett, executive director of Stoughton’s Housing Authority, was arrested in connection with stolen prescription painkillers taken from a housing authority unit.

My Fox Boston reported that Bartlett was arrested Friday night for the thefts and charged with larceny from a building, breaking and entering during the daytime, theft of a controlled substance and larceny of a person over 65 years of age. All of the charges are felonies.

WCVB reported that the 90-year-old victim lived in the Housing Authority’s 4 Capen St. Elderly Housing unit and was missing Vicodin. Police received a tip from a concerned relative of the resident about the missing pills.

Bartlett, who turned himself in on Friday, is being held without bail and is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Stoughton District Court.
