Stoughton Library Breaks Ground On Renovation

The project is expected to be completed in 2019.

STOUGHTON, MA — In about two years, the Stoughton Public Library will be better than ever.

The library recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for a two-year renovation project that is expected to add 8,000 square feet to the building, update or replace all systems with energy efficient components, add handicap accessibility, expand the children's area, and increase meeting spaces.

The cost of the project is about $14 million and is expected to be completed in 2019.
