Update: Computer Equipment Stolen from Stoughton Library

Stoughton police are now investigating a break-in at the Stoughton Public Library that took place during the overnight hours.

During early Friday morning, someone entered the building by using a stone to break the glass doors at the front entrance.

Stoughton Police Chief Paul Shastany told SMAC that computer equipment was taken during the break-in and it is believed the person was cut due to blood left at the scene.

Due to the incident, the library is closed for the day but will reopen at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
