Check out some photos of the new Stoughton library, opening in late November.

STOUGHTON, MA — The construction of the new library is rapping up, and the town can expect it to be beautiful, spacious and under budget, library director Pat Basler said.

The new $14 million facility is expected to have its grand opening sometime in late November. Here are some pictures of the progress as of Oct. 24.

Much of the construction is already done, library officials said in a statement.

"The exterior envelope has been completed. Sidewalks along the perimeter of the building are nearing completion. The lower parking lot has been paved with binder. All ceiling grids have been installed," library officials said.

Some work that still needs to be finished includes ceiling tiles and light fixture installations, as well as installing plumbing fixtures and floor finishing. A final coat of paint will go up soon too.
