Stoughton Man Accused Of Assaulting New Jersey Cop
The suspect asked the conductor if he could ride the train for free. He was refused, then he caused a scene, and was arrested, police said.

BOSTON, MA — A Stoughton man police said was wanted for assaulting a police officer in New Jersey was arrested on Wednesday at South Station.
Taylor, Cox, 31, had a warrant from Bergen County, New Jersey on charges including two counts of aggravated assault on law enforcement, threats and resisting arrest.
Around 1:30 p.m., MBTA police were called to a Commuter Rail track. According to Transit police, Cox asked the conductor if he could ride the train for free. When the conductor refused, police said Cox got angry, aggressive, and started swearing at the conductor. When police identified Cox, they saw the warrant for his arrest, and took him into custody at Transit police headquarters.
