Stoughton Man Wanted by Sharon Police Arrested on Armed Break-in, Larceny Charges

STOUGHTON, MA — A Stoughton man has been arrested following an incident that took place over the weekend in Sharon.

Darrell Rodney, 35, was arrested Wednesday in Brockton with the assistance of the Massachusetts State Police. He was charged with assault in a dwelling while armed, breaking and entering in the nighttime with an intent to commit a felony, violating an abuse prevention order, witness intimidation, destruction of property over $250, larceny of property over $250, assault and battery, and disorderly conduct, according to the Sharon Police Department.

Police say Rodney was involved in a domestic-related incident over the weekend in Sharon. The victim was injured, but not seriously.

Rodney was held overnight by Sharon police. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Stoughton District Court Thursday.
