On the radio, Scott Zolak and Marc Bertrand of 98.5 The Sports Hub debated the achievement. While the hosts joked about the perfect series, Hardy, the show’s third voice, emphasized the rarity of the accomplishment.
The perfect series was the 27th on record. The United States Bowling Congress will now check the authenticity of the act to make sure the ball, lanes, and oil used were up to code according to the Boston Globe.
