Stoughton Man Bowls 36 Straight Strikes, Earns Perfect Series

Forget bowling a perfect game, a Stoughton resident recently achieved a perfect series.

On Thursday night, Hakim Emmanuel hit 36 strikes in a row during a local league match at Westgate Lanes in Brockton. The achievement makes him the 26th known person and the first in Massachusetts to bowl a perfect series according to Bowl.com.

Emmanuel admitted that his palms were sweaty and the ball felt heavier for those final rolls of the first game, but nothing could compare to the end of the third game, where he completed the achievement.

Emmanuel, whose previous high score for a single game was 290, never topped the 800 mark before bowling 900.
