Stoughton Man Charged with Possessing 13 Fraudulent Credit Cards

EVERETT, MA. – A Stoughton man faces charges following a credit card incident at an Everett store.

Gerald Pierre, 35, was arrested Wednesday and charged with credit card fraud over $250, 13 counts of possession of fraudulent credit cards, attempted larceny over $250, and uttering a false credit card, according to the Everett Police Department.

Wednesday, police responded to a report of a man attempting to make a purchase with a fake credit card at the Everett Best Buy. On arrival, police were directed to Pierre, who was attempting to purchase an iPhone 7, police said. The card he was using was determined to be fake and he was taken into custody.

Pierre was scheduled to be arraigned in Malden District Court Thursday.
