Stoughton Man Charged With Third Unlawful Gun Offense
A Stoughton man was charged with unlawful possession for the third time, police said.

STOUGHTON, MA — A Stoughton man was charged with unlawful possession for the third time, police said.
Tyriq Wiggins, 23, was arrested in Boston Thursday and also charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, and carrying a loaded firearm, according to the Boston Police Department.
At about 12:30 p.m. on March 1, officers made an onsite firearm arrest on Columbia Road in Dorchester. As part of an ongoing investigation, officers were aware that Wiggins was possibly in possession of a firearm. The officers soon located the suspect and recovered a loaded Smith & Wesson revolver which he had discarded as the officers approached, police said.

Wiggin was placed in custody without incident. He was arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
