Stoughton Man at Hotel Arrested on Federal Warrant

STOUGHTON, MA — A Stoughton man who was once considered to be one of Brockton's most wanted criminals was taken into custody at a Stoughton hotel Wednesday.
Sedrick Oliveira, 26, was arrested inside the Courtyard Marriott on a federal warrant.
The Enterprise reports that multiple people were in the room with Oliveira. Police say one man tore a hole in a window screen to discard a gun and another man was seen attempting to flush drugs down a toilet.

A drug that is possibly heroin or fentanyl was found in the room.
In 2014, Oliveira was named one of Brockton's 50 most wanted criminals.

No one was injured at the scene, police said.
Oliveira is charged with illegal possession of a firearm, possession of fentanyl, conspiracy to commit a felony and malicious damage of property over $250. Another man, Alvaro Andrade, 26, of Taunton, faces the same charges.
