Stoughton Man Killed in Maine Golf Cart Accident
A golf cart reportedly tipped over while on the golf course.
A Stoughton man was killed Wednesday when a golf cart in which he was riding overturned on a golf course in South Berwick, Maine, NECN reported Thursday.
Eric S. Sullivan, 27, of Stoughton, was reportedly ejected from the cart and sustained “massive head trauma,” according to NECN.
The driver of the cart was reportedly treated for minor injuries and released, according to CBS Boston, and WMTW.com reported that authorities drew blood from both him and Sullivan to check blood-alcohol content.
