Stoughton Man Killed In Roll-Over Crash On Route 24

STOUGHTON, MA — A 23-year-old Stoughton man was killed in a crash on Route 24 in Randolph, according to State Police.

Just before 10:15 a.m. Friday, a State Police sergeant working a detail reported seeing a single-vehicle roll-over crash prior to exit 20 on Route 24 southbound. State Police said the man's Mercedes left the road on the right side and rolled over when it hit the ground.

The man was ejected from the car, and he was rushed to Good Samiritan Hospital in Brockton, but succumbed to his injuries there. The Stoughton man was the only one in the car.

State Police said the crash is still under investigation, but speed was believed to be a factor. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt, according to police.

State Police have not released the man's identity.
