Stoughton Man Pleads Innocent to Multiple Drugs and Weapons Charges

A Stoughton man facing multiple drug and weapons charges was indicted and arraigned in Norfolk Superior Court this Dedham this week.
Jules Tucker, 26, was arrested in May and is charged with two counts of possession of heroin with intent to distribute, two counts of possession of a large capacity firearm, four counts of unlawful possession of mace or ammunition, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and four counts of unlawful possession of ammunition without a firearms identification card.
Tucker pleaded not guilty to all 14 charges. Bail was set at $5,000 and he must submit to GPS monitoring, live with his father in Holbrook, and submit to random alcohol and drug testing according to Norfolk District Attorney spokesman David Traub.

According to court documents, Stoughton police were investigation Tucker for distributing drugs and had probable cause to arrest him when officers observed his vehicle near the intersection of Park and Kinsley Streets. Police pulled over the vehicle, which was allegedly driven by Tucker, who had a suspended license.
Once Tucker exited the vehicle, he was arrested by police for operating with a suspended license. During a search, police discovered a plastic bag containing heroin in Tucker’s pocket.

After the arrest, a search warrant executed at Tucker’s home on Blackstone Street resulted in extra criminal charges.
Tucker is due back in court on August 12 for a pretrial conference.
