Stoughton Man Tried to Flee Store Theft with a Covered License Plate: Police
Police say Michael Satori stole several items from the Stoughton Kohl's.

STOUGHTON, MA — A Stoughton man tried to make a getaway with a covered license place and car full of stolen merchandise, police said.
Michael Satrori, 27, was arrested Monday and charged with shoplifting, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license, and child endangerment, according to court documents. He was arraigned Tuesday in Stoughton District Court.
According to a police report, officers received a report of a shoplifter at Kohl's on Technology Center Drive at 9:50 p.m. The caller told police that a person who parked a gold Ford Taurus at the front of the store and had a towel over the back license plate had fled with several items of clothing. Police were able to locate a Taurus near the intersection of Technology Center Drive and Londeloff Avenue. While the vehicle didn't initially pull over for police, it came to a stop on Route 24 North just past the on-ramp.

During the investigation, police learned that the Satori and his younger sister were in Kohl's shopping before leaving at the request of the older Satori. He then allegedly drove the car to the front of the store, went in along, and return with his arms full of merchandise, the report said.
Several clothing items with tags were found in the vehicle, police said.

Satori's younger sister was taken to the police station and placed into the custody of a family member.
Satori was immediately handcuffed after being asked to exit his vehicle. His next court date is Dec. 5.
