Stoughton Middle Schooler Named Boston Celtics Hero Among Us For Saving Baby Sister [VIDEO]

STOUGHTON, MA — A sixth grader from Stoughton was honored by the Boston Celtics Saturday night for saving her newborn sister thanks to a lesson learned in school.
Alise Hernandez-Fabregas was named Saturday night's Hero Among Us for giving her sister CPR after she started to choke on formula. In November, Alise used infant CPR learned in in class at O'Donnell Middle School in Stoughton.
As the family searched for help, Alise turned her sister over and provided back blows until she stopped choking. By the time nurses arrived, the baby was breathing normally, the Stoughton Public Schools said.

In addition to the honor from the Celtics, Alise was placed the Knights of Honor Roll and was given $100 and a police escort to shop at Target as part of December's Shop with a Cop event.
