Stoughton Murder Suspect Indicted

Keenan Brasfield, 24, faces a murder charge in the death of Erwins Albert.

STOUGHTON, MA - A Stoughton man charged in a stabbing has been indicted by a Norfolk County Grand Jury.

Keenan Brasfield, 24, faces a murder charge in the death of Erwins Albert. He is due in Norfolk Superior Court in Dedham on June 6, according to the Enterprise.

On May 6, police received a report of a fight on Canton Street. When police arrived at the scene, they found an unresponsive Albert who was suffering from an apparent chest wound, with blood on his chest and legs.

Albert was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Witnesses told police that they saw a tow truck with a car attached, followed by two more cars that drove behind the truck. Brasfield allegedly got out of one of the vehicles and Albert got out of another vehicle. The two allegedly had an argument over the content of what was in the trunk of the towed car. Brasfield allegedly said, "You didn't know I got the hock," before stabbing the victim and fleeing the scene on foot.

Witnesses at the scene were able to identify Brasfield as the suspect. He turned himself into police two days later.
