Stoughton Native Named New England Division I Womens Hockey All-Star

A Stoughton native is among three Boston University Terriers who were named New England Division I Womens Hockey All-Star, BU announced Friday.
Senior goaltender Victoria Hanson was honored by the New England Hockey Writers Association for her work between the pipes. Hanson, a Hockey East First Team All-Star, stated 28 games and finished the season with a career-high .927 save percentage and a 2.37 goals-against average.
With the Terriers fighting for home ice in the playoffs, Hanson went 4-0-0 in the last four games of the regular season, posting a league-high .945 save percentage and a conference-low 1.75 goals-against average, according to a press release from BU.
