Stoughton Obituaries (Week of June 4)
The following are obituaries for Stoughton residents or those with Stoughton ties for the week of June 4: Barry M. Sullivan, John F. Buttner and Richard B. Weston.

Barry M. Sullivan
Barry M. Sullivan, 56, died Thursday, June 7, 2012 unexpectedly at his home after suffering a heart attack. He was the beloved husband of 32 years of Renee (Prolago) Sullivan. Born in Charlestown, he was raised in Canton and a graduate of Canton High School, Class of 1973.
Sullivan was Sergeant in the U.S. Army, serving from 1975-1978. He was a resident of Stoughton for over 28 years. He was a Licensed Steam Engineer, 1st Class, for Tishman Speyer in Boston.

He was an avid Boston sports fan and in his free time, he enjoyed working on his house and a good beer. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and his beloved wife Renee.
In addition to his wife, Sullivan is survived by his loving children, Jonathan D. Sullivan of Stoughton and his fiancé Jennifer Curtin of N.Y., Jennifer R. Sullivan and her fiancé Erik Williams of Brockton and Michael T. Sullivan of Stoughton and his fiancé Abigail Sullivan of North Andover. He was the cherished and proud grandfather of Jack Williams.

Sullivan was the devoted son of Grace P. (Pitts) Sullivan of Canton and the late Theodore Sullivan. He is also survived by his siblings; Patrice Fillebrown and her husband Alan of Canton, Cheryl Pooler and her husband James of East Bridgewater, Shawn Sullivan and his wife Rainy and Brian Sullivan and his wife Mariann all of Stoughton, Brendan Sullivan and his wife Christine of Randolph, Colin Sullivan and his wife Francesca of Norton and the late Priscilla Sullivan, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) in Stoughton on Monday, June 11 at 11:30 a.m. Visiting Hours are Sunday, June 10 from 2-6 p.m. Interment will take place at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.

John F. Buttner
John F. Buttner of Stoughton passed away June 2, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Grace P. (Conway). Devoted father of John W. Buttner and his fiancé Kathleen Vanderhoop of Falmouth, Leigh DeLosh and her husband Mark of Hyde Park, Pamela Mason and her husband Richard of Canton, Teri King and her spouse Leslie Morrison of Falmouth, Timothy Buttner of Roslindale, Paul Buttner of Stoughton, Larry Buttner and his fiancé Donna Gleeson of Dedham .
Grandfather of Lauren, John, and Matthew DeLosh, Michael, Jacqueline, and Ashley King, Micaela Buttner, Nicole and Richard Mason, Robert and Brendan Buttner. Loving brother of William Buttner and the late Joseph Buttner. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was a former teacher in the Boston and Canton school systems and was a US Navy Veteran serving with the USMC in the Korean War.
He loved reading, fishing, boxing and politics and was a jack of all trades.

Richard B. Weston
Richard B. Weston was born on April 26, 1948 and passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2012. He was a resident of Stoughton at the time of his passing.
Weston is survived by his wife Nancy.
Friends and relatives attended a funeral service on Thurs., June 7 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Wollaston, in Quincy. Burial followed at Mt. Wollaston Cemetery in Quncy.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Weston's name may be made to First Baptist Church of Wollaston Organ Fund.
