Stoughton Parade of Lights/Winter Warmup Canceled

The annual holiday parade is this Saturday at 5 p.m.

UPDATE - Due to the expected snowstorm, the parade has been canceled.

STOUGHTON, MA — The annual Stoughton Parade of Lights is back this weekend.

The town's holiday celebration takes place Saturday, Dec. 9 and starts at 5 p.m. The parade steps at Stoughton High School, goes through the center of town, bears left onto Park Street and ends at the corner of Leech and Park streets. Mark Snyder of Stoughton News will be the master of ceremonies.

Event organizers advise residents that the best place to watch if the center of town.

Following the parade, everyone is invited to the Winter Warmup at O'Donnell Middle School from 6-8 p.m. The night includes performances, stories from the Stoughton Public Library, and pictures with Santa Claus.

Below is the schedule for the Winter Warmup:

  • 6:15-7:30 p.m. - Holiday Stories with Mrs. Sewcyk
  • 6:30 p.m. - The Conservatory School for the Performing Arts
  • 6:40 p.m. - South Shore Theatre Works
  • 6:50 p.m. - Dance Spirit Canton
  • 7:05 p.m. - Stoughton High School Jazz Band
  • 7:20 p.m. - Stoughton High School Jazz Choir
  • 7:30 p.m. - Starline Academy for the Performing Arts
  • 7:45 p.m. - Parade Winner Announcement/Closing Remarks
