2018 Stoughton 4th Of July: No Fireworks This Year
Due to the high school construction, there will not be fireworks this year, but there will still be a parade.

STOUGHTON, MA — There will not be 4th of July fireworks in Stoughton this year because of the construction at the high school.
A post on the official Stoughton Community Events Facebook Page said, "There was lengthy discussion with the police and fire as well as other town officials during the past year. We have exhausted all possibilities for an alternate location."
The annual parade hosted by Mark Snyder is scheduled for July 4 at 10 a.m. The parade will start at the intersection of Park and Prospect streets and run through the center of town, down Washington Street, and ends at Phillips Avenue.

The parade will also be streamed via Facebook Live on the Stoughton Patch and the Facebook page.
The town will also have a carriage/bike parade through the center prior to the beginning of the annual parade.

July 4 will be one of those days where both sunblock and an umbrella might be necessary. Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 91 degrees with 64 percent humidity. There's also a 40 percent chance of rain.
