STOUGHTON PATCH SCOREBOARD: Strong Showing For Runners in Finale

The Stoughton boys capped a successful cross country season with a 15th place showing at Wrentham Development Center Saturday. Freshmen Colin Cochran (18:38) and Cameron Bean (18:39) turned in outstanding performances, finishing as fifth and sixth runners on the team. David Lockhart (17:09) , Antonio Irons (17:39), Alec DeNapoli (17:57), Nick Quattrucci (18:20) and Luke Butera (19:11) formed the rest of the team. Cochran, Bean and Butera all ran personal bests. The other four boys were all close to their bests on a more difficult course. The boys finished off the season with a 3-2 league record (5-2 overall).
GIRLS' CROSS-COUNTRY
The Stoughton girls cross country season ended on a high note at Wrentham Develment Center on Saturday. The team finished 16th out of 23 other teams.Amy Kelly finished 32nd in a time of 19.56 followed by Shannon Barkey,-22.05. The surprise of the team was the finish of Jennifer Billo, 22.25 Katrina Daly, 22.43, Julia Bobeck, 22.45, and Rebekah Medina, 22.47.
