Stoughton Police Investigating Two Robberies 20 Minutes Apart
The robberies took place at two gas stations on Thursday night.

Stoughton Police are now investigating two armed robberies that took place in a span of 20 minutes.
On Thursday night at approximately 7:01 p.m., two suspects approached the clerk of the Getty Gas Station on Canton Street and demanded money. After a struggle ensued, the suspects left without money according to Stoughton Police.
20 minutes later, a suspect entered the Cumberland Farms on Park Street, demanding money from the clerk and brandishing a knife. The clerk complied with the suspect’s demand.

In the first robbery, the first suspect is described as a white male, aged 20-25, with a tall, thin build. He was seen wearing a black jacket over a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. He was reportedly wearing clear latex type gloves. The second suspect is described as a white male, aged 20-25, approximately 5’8” tall, heavy set with right eyebrow piercing and a black beard. He was reportedly wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans
The suspect in the second robbery is described as a white male, aged 23-25, approximately 5’6” to 5’8” tall, thin, 150 to 160 lbs, blue eyes. He was seen wearing a blue scarf over his mouth and a black hat, black jacket and dark blue jeans and black footwear with white soles. He was reportedly wearing clear latex type gloves.

Detectives are reviewing video surveillance and conducting further investigation.
