Stoughton Police Log: Assault, Drug Possession, and More

September 14

8:41 a.m. - During a traffic stop near Cumberland Farms on Washington Street, a 32-year-old man from Brockton received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense).

8:59 a.m. - During a traffic stop on Commonwealth Avenue near Sentinel Street, Dvaughn Westwarer, 24, of Stoughton, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class B drug with intent to distribute and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

5:05 p.m. - While responding to a report of a suspicious motor vehicle on Wheeler Circle, a 17-year-old was arrested and charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct, two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, and malicious damage over $250.

8:27 p.m. - During a traffic stop near Huggard and Ewing on Washington Street, 21-year-old from Stoughton received a summons for possession of a Class C drug, operating a motor vehicle that didn’t meeting RMV safety standards, and two counts of a motor vehicle lights violation.

September 15

4:36 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Turnpike Street near Campanelli Park, a 43-year-old woman from Brockton received a summons for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

8:31 p.m. - A 42-year-old from Stoughton received a summons for domestic assault and battery and larceny from a person.
