Stoughton Police Log: Drug Possession, Shoplifting, and More

October 5

12:56 a.m. - Columbia Gas reported a person on Pearl Street who was intoxicated and preventing them from doing work. The person, a 64-year-old from Stoughton, was taken into protective custody.

4:32 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Turnpike Street near Green Drive, a 29-year-old from Stoughton received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and speeding.

9:49 p.m. - A taxi driver on Cushing Street told police that a passenger was passed out. The person, a 27-year-old from Stoughton, was taken into protective custody.

October 6

1:44 a.m. - During a traffic stop on Walnut Street near Walnut Court, Dahl Jackson, 27, of Boston, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense) and failure to dim lights while operating a motor vehicle.

October 7
5:45 p.m. - Following a crash on Page Terrace, a 59-year-old woman from Hyde Park received a summons for leaving the scene of property damage.


October 9

7:00 p.m. - A 46-year-old male from Stoughton on Washington Street received a summons for violating an abuse prevention order.

October 10

2:43 p.m. - Greg Toussaint, 27, of Randolph, was arrested on Donahue Way on a warrant.

7:44 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Park Street near Eighth Street, a 26-year-old from Stoughton received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with no inspection sticker and operating with a suspended license.

October 12

11:35 a.m. - A 34-year-old from Stoughton received a summons at Rite Aid on Washington Street for shoplifting over $100 by concealing merchandise.

October 13

1:50 a.m. - During a traffic stop on Pleasant Street near Robert Road, Deroy Smith, 20, of Stoughton, was arrested and charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, possession of Class E and D drugs with intent to distribute, and conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws.
