Stoughton Police Log: Misleading Police, Underage Liquor Store Robbery, and More

October 27

9:46 a.m. - During a traffic stop in Park Street near Third Street, a 25-year-old woman from Brockton received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating a motor vehicle that fails to meet safety standards.

6:15 p.m. - Following a car crash on Washington Street near Lincoln Street, Amanda Barata, 21, of Quincy, was arrested on a warrant and charged with giving a false name or address to an officer, knowingly misleading police, passing violation, and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

October 28

10:57 a.m. - Jeffrey Andrews, 31, of Plymouth, was arrested on Brotton Avenue on a warrant.

2:12 p.m. - A caller at Ikea told police that a person is attempting to return an item he took. The suspect, Kevin McCarthy, 33, of Stoughton, was arrested on a warrant.

4:55 p.m. - An employee at Central Liquor Mart on Wyman Street told police that two people took a bottle from the store. One person, a 13-year-old, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and accessory before the fact.
