Stoughton Police Log: Vandalism, Drug Possession, and More

September 16

11:06 a.m. - During a traffic stop on Pratts Court near West Street, a 28-year-old woman from Stoughton received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

11:56 p.m. - A caller on Monk Street told police that someone vandalized their vehicle.

September 17

9:10 a.m. - During a traffic stop on Central Street, Dynzel Brown, 24, of Dorchester was arrested on a warrant and charged with failure to stop/yield and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. A 22-year old woman from Boston also received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration and having an uninsured motor vehicle.

1:22 p.m. - Following a reported attempted bike theft at Walgreen’s on Washington Street, Anthony Carter, 24, of Stoughton, was arrested and charged with attempted larceny and possession of Class B and E drugs.

September 18

8:00 p.m. - A caller in Page Street reported a person knocking at her door. The man, a 52-year-old from Fall River, was taken into protective custody.

September 19

5:55 a.m. - A caller told police that he fell asleep while driving near Evergreen Cemetary on Washington Street and went off the road. A portion of a fence was damaged.
