Stoughton Police Log: Vehicle Break-in, Stolen Board Games, and More

October 20

6:58 p.m. -A caller at Auto Zone on Central Street reported three shoplifters running towards Mobil. The three were trespassed from the store and one person, Romario Slayman-Lugg, 18, of Stoughton, was arrested on a warrant.

4:22 a.m. - During a traffic stop near Cumberland Farms on Turnpike Street, a 54-year-old woman from Brockton was taken into protective custody.

8:43 a.m. - Following a car crash on West Street near Westview Drive, a 19-year-old man from Stoughton received a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

10:56 a.m. - A caller on Welch Avenue told police that he watched someone enter his vehicle. Police located and arrested Mario DePina, 49, of Stoughton, He was charged with breaking and entering a vehicle in the daytime for a felony, larceny under $250, and disorderly conduct.

10:42 p.m. - During a traffic stop near Jimmy’s on Pleasant Street, a 29-year-old from Brockton received a summons for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

October 24

10:10 p.m. - A caller on Bradford Street told police that someone was inside their apartment stealing board games. The suspect, a 25-year-old man from Broctkon, received a summons for breaking and entering in the night time to commit a felony.
