Motor vehicle theft

A delivery person from Stoughton Pizza called police on Sunday and reported that his vehicle was stolen.

Police received a call at 3:22 p.m. stating that a red 1993 Honda Accord was stolen from the side parking lot of the pizza shop located at 875 Washington Street.

The employee at Stoughton Pizza left his car running and went inside for a minute and then saw the car heading south on Washington Street, according to Executive Officer Robert Devine of the SPD.

Missing child located

Police received multiple calls about a missing child on Thursday. The first call came in at 3:58 p.m. Police checked the grandmother’s residence at LaCivita Court and a friend’s house on Pearl Street, but the missing child was not at either location.

At 5:42 p.m. on Thursday, police report finding the missing child on Plain Street near Leeds Street. The child was unharmed and was transported back to the child's home on Westview Drive.

Shoplifting

Police received a call from T.J. Maxx at 1334 Park Street at 3 p.m. on Sunday about a case of shoplifting. Loss prevention at T.J. Maxx cannot identify the merchandise according to the police log.

Arrests/Summons

* A 23-year-old Stoughton man and a 19-year-old Stoughton woman were both issued court summons, charged with domestic assault and battery. At 4:12 p.m. on Saturday, “the female walked into the police station stating her boyfriend hit her in the back of the head. Male party was outside the station. Male party said he also was assaulted,” according to the police log.

* Lucimar DeOliveira, 35 of Stoughton, was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle and the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, following a motor vehicle stop at 12:42 a.m. on Saturday at Canton Street and Pratts Ct. The car was towed and the operator was transported home.

* A 17-year-old from Revere was charged with being a minor in the possession of a B.B. gun/air rifle. The motor vehicle stop took place at 9:24 p.m. at the V.F.W. Post 1645 at 837 Washington Street.

* A summons was issued for Allison Bean, 27, of Plymouth, charged with larceny by check over $250. According to the police log, Wood Pro, Inc. at 1735 Central Street contacted police saying the checking account had insufficient funds.
