Stoughton Police Rescue Baby Deer

STOUGHTON, MA — A baby deer was reunited with its mother Sunday evening, thanks to Police Officer Jonathan Gagne, who was called to Plain Drive to free the fawn from some nearby brush.

"After freeing Bambi, Mom came back a short time later and off they went," Stoughton police said on the department's Facebook page.

According to Stoughton police, this wasn't Gagne's first animal rescue. During his police career, Gagne has rescued everything from deer to an alligator.
