Stoughton Police Respond To Grenade Threat
Police were called to a Charles Avenue home Monday night for a report of a possible live grenade.

STOUGHTON, MA — Police were called to a Charles Avenue home Monday night for a report of a possible live grenade.
The Enterprise reports that a woman told police that her boyfriend had held a grenade to his neck for three days. Officers at the scene discovered that the device was a smoke bomb.
The man, who has a history of mental illness, was taken to a hospital for a mental illness evaluation.
