Stoughton Public Safety Building Site Selection Moves Forward
According to Marc Tisdelle, the committee will be going through the Request for Proposal (RFP) process by the third week of August.

STOUGHTON, MA — Interim Town Manager Manager Marc Tisdelle on Tuesday night told the Stoughton Board of Selectmen that the Public Safety Building Site Selection Committee is "making pretty good headway."
Tisdelle said the criteria for a selection ranking system was established. That criteria was included in revised building layouts completed by the architects.
According to Tisdelle, the committee will be going through the Request for Proposal (RFP) process by the third week of August.

"Now that we have the criteria established, we can go forward with an RFP and try to solicit sites that submit proposals and meet our criteria," Tisdelle said.
About a dozen sites are being looked at under the current ranking system, but none were spoken of publicly in open session.

According to the Selectmen meeting agenda, a location at 15 Pleasant Street (Randolph Savings Bank) was discussed related to public safety building discussions.
