Stoughton Public Safety Officers Thank Town Meeting For Staffing Boost

The following was read by Leon Siva, the president of Stoughton Firefighters Local 1212 at this week's meeting of Annual Town Meeting:

From the members of your public safety departments and their families, we would like to extend our utmost gratitude and appreciation to the citizens of Stoughton for your loyalty and support.

We would like to respectfully thank you for addressing the needs of public safety. Your votes at town meeting will make a significant impact in the overall effectiveness in our delivery of public service. Therefore improving the safety of the citizens of Stoughton, as well as the firefighters and police officers providing those services.

We will continue to be committed to serving and protecting the citizens and visitors of Stoughton without hesitation.

We will always pride ourselves in our professions’ core values which include: integrity, honesty ,respect, professionalism and discipline.

On behalf of Stoughton’s entire compliment of public safety personnel, we would like to thank the community for their support and collaboration, which will lead to a successful partnership and exceptional service to our citizens.
