Stoughton Public Schools on the Rise: Report

The study comes from SchoolDigger.com and Trulia.

STOUGHTON, MA — When it comes to school districts around Boston, Stoughton is one that's on the rise, a new report said.

With a new school year almost here, SchoolDigger.com and Trulia analyzed test scores from the past five years to find out how school districts performed and which ones are showing improvement. The study looked at school districts with more than three schools and over 1,000 students.

Stoughton had the eighth biggest jump on the list, going from 30 in 2011 to 24 in 2015. The biggest jump was made by Melrose, going from 34 to 17.

Other area schools with big jumps include Foxborough from 17 to 11 and Milton from 15 to five.
