Stoughton Recreation Announces Upcoming Fall-Winter Events

The Stoughton Recreation events will range from kayak lessons to pre-school soccer.

STOUGHTON, MA – The Stoughton Recreation Department announced their upcoming Fall-Winter programs.

The planned community events will include:

  • Stoughton Day on September 29 at Halloran Park
  • Haunted Hayride on October 13 at Cedar Hill Golf Course
  • Halloween Costume 5K on October 20 at Halloran Park
  • Easter Egg Hunt on April 13, 2019 at Halloran Park

Registration for these events and more begins September 3.

Other upcoming events include Tiny Tykes Soccer for Pre-Schoolers, ages 2 to 5 at Halloran Park. Soccer Sunday Sessions will begin September 16, while Tuesday sessions begin on September 25, and Thursday sessions begin September 27.

Kayak and Stand-Up Paddle Board Lessons at Ames Long Park will start September 20 and end on October 25. Kayak lessons go from 4:00pm to 5:00pm, while paddleboard lessons are at 5:00pm to 6:00pm. Both activities are on Thursdays for ages 10 and over.

Recreation Adult Basketball will begin October 11 and end on February 28, 2019. Basketball will be on Thursdays from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at the Stoughton High School Gymnasium.
