Stoughton School Officials to Host MCAS Achievement Presentation

Four Stoughton schools achieved Level 1 status in the state's accountability system.

By Matt Perkins

Following last month’s news that Stoughton’s MCAS scores this year propelled the district from a Level 3 to Level 2 status, school officials will discuss the importance of the move with parents and members of the public at a community meeting next week.

This year, four of Stoughton’s seven schools achieved Level-1 status in the Massachusetts Accountability System due to higher MCAS scores, and the district itself climbed from Level-3 to Level-2 status.
