Stoughton Teen Threatens Woman With BB Gun: Boston Police

BOSTON — A Stoughton teen was arrested Monday after he threatened a woman with a BB gun in Charlestown, according to police. Donquell Mayes, 18, was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.

Around 8:07 p.m., Boston police were called to Corey Street for a report of someone in the area with a gun. Police said Mayes was threatening a woman with a BB gun, which looked like a real gun.

Police stopped the suspect and said they found the BB gun, which Mayes threw in the dumpster to try to hide it from police. Mayes was taken into custody and is scheduled to be arraigned in Charlestown District Court.
