Stoughton's Wes Hazard Falls Short After Great 4-Day Jeopardy Run
Wes Hazard found himself in a hole again tonight. Amazingly, he almost pulled this one off too but this time, he came up a little short.

CULVER CITY, CA — Prior to Final Jeopardy, Stoughton's Wes Hazard found himself in a hole again tonight. Amazingly, he almost pulled this one off too but this time, he came up a little short.
At this time, the scores were:
- Michelle Cabral: $15,200
- Johanna Schaufield: $14,400
- Wes Hazard: $6,400
Hazard did what any Jeopardy player would do in his situation. He bet all he could, $6,399. The night's Final Jeopardy answer was, "The author of this novel thought of calling it "Silence in Water."

The question was, "What is Jaws?," which Hazard guessed correctly. Unfortunately, so did Michelle Cabral who after wagering $3,200 finished with $18,400.
Cabral played a strong game especially in the Double Jeopardy round. She took advantage of an early Daily Double and stayed near the top until the end. She will go on as the new champion.
