According to Stoughton police, the house had been under investigation for about three months. Over that time, police said they were able to put together a "comprehensive report," which proved drugs were being sold out of the house. On Friday at 4:45 p.m., Stoughton police executed a search warrant with the help of DEA agents, a SWAT team, Norfolk County Sheriff’s Department deputies, and Randolph police. When officers searched the house, they said they seized 9.2 grams of fentanyl, 84 Percocet pills, OxyContin pills, 58 Xanax pills and 4 Suboxone strips, as well as nearly $3,000 in cash, the Brockton Enterprise reported.

Lt. John Bonney said careful planning was needed for this particular case because the house is located in a busy area of town.

“The home at 149 Canton St. sits on the very busy Route 27, so we had to take great precautions in the planning and execution of this entry,” said Bonney. “Canton Street was detoured during entry and remained closed for a short period of time.”
