Teen From Group Home Slept Inside Stoughton CVS: Police

The teen faces charges of breaking and entering and larceny under $250.

Stoughton, MA — A teenager ran away over the weekend and slept inside a CVS in Stoughton, police said.

The 15-year-old from Boston has picked up by the Department of Children and Families according to the Enterprise. He faces charges of breaking and entering and larceny under $250.

Police say the teen was assigned to a group home in Hingham but ran away over the weekend and drove to Stoughton, allegedly staying in the CVS overnight Sunday. An employee who opened the store Monday morning saw the teen run out, with the store noticing missing items that afternoon.

Police were able to identify the teen thanks to surveillance footage.
