These Turkeys, In Ritual-Like Circling Of A Dead Cat, Are Freaky [VIDEO]
The person who shot the video was spot-on when he said it was the weirdest thing he's ever seen.

RANDOLPH, MA — If the thought of a group of turkeys walking in a circle around a dead cat sounds weird and creepy, wait until you see the video of that actually happening.
A video of the bizarre incident in Randolph was posted to Twitter Thursday. The 24-second video shows the large group of birds circling the cat. A voice on the video remarks that it is "The craziest thing I've ever seen. Bro, this is wild."
As of 4:21 p.m. Thursday, the video has been retweeted more than 10,000 times.

So why are the turkeys walking around the cat? That's a question that has even state wildlife biologist and turkey expert David Scarpitti scratching his head. He told the Boston Globe that his colleagues in the biology field are perplexed by the video.
The working theory is that cats are a predator of turkeys, so the gang was evaluating the situation. As for the circling, the flock's leader may have started walking around and the rest followed.
