Town Spa Pizza Not Good Enough to Make Your Mouth Explode

STOUGHTON, MA—Despite numerous accolades, Town Spa Pizza in Stoughton is apparently not good enough to make your mouth explode.

According to a post by OnlyInYourState.com listing 14 pizza restaurants in the Commonwealth that are "so good that your mouth may explode," Town Spa Pizza did not make the "cut." The post listed Charcoal Guido's in Waltham, Leone's Sub and Pizza in Somerville and Emma's Pizza in Kendall Square among its 14 'mouth-exploding' restaurants.

Town Spa Pizza has been known as the place to go in the area for good pizza. In 2011, a Stoughton native who lives in Mississippi drove 1,400 miles to buy 150 frozen pizzas from Town Spa.

The restaurant also has a rating of 3.5 stars after 247 reviews on Yelp.

The OnlyInYourState.com posting did mention that pizza tends to be a very personal subject and that the matter is certainly up for debate.

Town Spa has been in business since 1955 and is located on Washington Street.
