July 22

1:24 a.m. - During a traffic stop on Walnut Street, a 52-year-old from Brockton received a summons for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating with revoked registration.

1:34 p.m. - During a traffic stop on School Street near Cushing Street, 51-year-old from Stoughton received a summons for operating with revoked registration, operating with a suspended license (subsequent offense), and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

1:37 p.m. - Following a car crash on Freeman Street near Washington Street, a 30-year-old from Stoughton received a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

5:33 p.m. - Edward Courteau, 56, of Stoughton, was arrested at the police station on a warrant.

July 23

1:21 a.m. - During a traffic stop on Pearl Street, a 21-year-old from Canton received a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a motor vehicle lights violation.

12:23 p.m. - A caller near Foley’s on Pearl Street reported a driver in a box truck that looked “passed out.” The driver, Matthew Berrios, 26, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, was arrested and charged with trespassing. Berrios also had an active warrant.

2:20 p.m. - Sheila Hersey, 55, of Weymouth, was arrested at Kohl’s on Technology Center Drive and charged with shoplifting by asportation and trespassing.

9:16 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Prospect Street near Broadway, a 41-year-old from Stoughton received a summons for operating with a suspended license and speeding in violation of a special regulation.

July 24

2:46 a.m. - During a traffic top on Pleasant Street, a 16-year-old received a summons for failure to yield at in intersection to a vehicle approaching the opposite direction and unlicensed operating of a motor vehicle.
