Randolph Town Councilor Arrested On Methamphetamine Charges
Two Randolph residents were arrested Tuesday and face drug charges.

RANDOLPH, MA — Two Randolph residents were arrested Tuesday and face drug charges.
James Burgess Jr., 49, was arrested on Fairmont Street and charged with possession of a Class B substance (methamphetamine) and Scott Donaghue, 33, was arrested on a warrant for distribution of a Class B substance (methamphetamine), according to the Norfolk County District Attorney's office.
Burgess is an at-large member of the Randolph Town Council. He has been a member of the council for about a decade.

The arrests came following a lengthy investigation and both are expected to be arraigned in the Quincy District Court Wednesday morning.
The matter remains under active investigation. No other information has been released as of Tuesday evening.
