VIDEO: Suspect Throws Fireworks At Stoughton Police Station
Stoughton police said one officer was in his cruiser when the explosion happened in the department parking lot.
STOUGHTON, MA — Police are looking for a man they said threw a firework at the Stoughton Police Department.
According to police, the incident happened around 12:30 a.m., Tuesday when a man, depicted in the video below, threw a firework over a fence into the parking lot at the police station.
"The firework exploded where the cruisers are parked," Lt. John Bonney said in a statement on the department's Facebook. "One Officer had just gotten into his cruiser when the explosion happened."

Police said the suspect can be seen lighting the firework in the top left-hand portion of the video. He then ran down the tracks toward School Street. Police said they searched the area but could not locate the suspect.
