New Forecast Says 8-12 Inches of Snow for Stoughton
Up to 12 inches could hit the area, according to the National Weather Service.

STOUGHTON, MA - A few inches of snow could hit the area late Thursday night and early Friday morning.
A Winter Storm Warning will be in effect Friday from 1 a.m. to 3 p.m. The warning is issued by the National Weather Service when more of six inches of snow is expected to fall and travel will be slow and difficult.
As of Friday morning, the NWS forecast has increased to eight to 12 inches of snow.

Heavy snow is expected during the day, with a snowfall rate of up to one inch per hour. Drivers should expect hazardous condition and a slow drive. The NWS is advising people to telecommute if possible.
The latest hourly forecast calls for snow through late afternoon before tapering off to snow showers and light snow before ending after dinner Friday night.
